Welcome to the Secondary Ethics and Religious Culture resources page on LEARN.  The ERC program allows your child to acquire or consolidate an understanding of how all individuals are equal in terms of right and dignity.  Students learn to reflect on issues and explore different ways in which Québec's religious heritage.  They learn about other religious traditions ... in which different values and beliefs coexist.

Learning Situations

To support teachers in the application of the ERC program, Learning and Evaluation Situations (LESs) were written by Anglophone resources with the help of the (then) MELS, and they are now being shared on LEARN below. Each LES has Teacher Tools and Student Tools, and our collections now also include the MELS-produced LESs translated from their French working documents. Note that some June 2011 versions have also been validated and revised according to the updated Evaluation Frameworks.
