Unit 2 Around The Home

Overview:

The purpose of this unit is to have learners develop ways to better manage and safely maintain their homes. The unit begins with a reflection on what a home is and how one should manage it. Once learners are familiar with the idea of improving household management, they are asked to create an inventory of hazardous products in their homes. This is followed by activities that promote family fire safety. To conclude, learners have the task of creating a household plan of action to help the environment.
