Visit this MELS site to find factual information on the 21 sectors and their associated programs.

Click VOC
A site that contains information on secondary-level vocational training programs available on the island of Montréal. Sections include FAQ's, a quiz and guidance on how to choose a program.

Heading for Success
A site about careers requiring vocational training. This site has an aptitude test, magazine, and a forum along with basic information on the trades.

Apprentice Search
This site provides information on trades that offer apprentice programs. In the "About Trades" section read all about different trades in different fields.

POP Index
The POP Index contains both experiential activities and virtual visit and key people in different vocational training sectors.
 
Career Cruising
This site contains information on many careers. In order to narrow your research to the trades, in the Education section select the Vocational Programs option and in the Careers section, search by "Cluster" and then select the "Skilled Trades" option. Many videos can be watched and a lot of information about the trades can be read on this site. Please see your teacher or Guidance Counselor for the required username and password.
