This section contains documents and tools to support the development of the POP program.
• Pondering is another word for reflection. Students will
be asked to pause and ponder at various points in your career exploration process.
• Reflection can take many forms. Students may reflect on their own, with classmates, in a conference with the teacher--and so on.
• Your role as a teacher is integral to student reflection development--asking focused questions, making time to stop and reflect during career explorations so that students have an opportunity to adjust and move on; providing direction to students by encouraging them to reflect on their own and other practices they have seen in the classroom or through their career exploration processes.
