MELS Workshops:
Intervention in the Kindergarten Classroom

This two day workshop is a continuation on the last two years (2006-2007) of in-service training offered by MELS which focused on evaluation in the classroom. This year (2008) we will examine the role of the educator with regards to the pedagogical interventions (both direct and indirect) used to support our students towards developing the competencies as outlined in the Preschool Education Programme. Participants who have not attended previous workshops are welcome to attend.

Participants are asked to bring along a their copy of the QEP, a copy of their current report card, and an observation tool they feel works well when assessing their students.
