100th Day of School Celebration Activities

100th Day 50-50 Book (K)
Write a book listing groups of 50 opposites. I did this with my students, and they called it "The 100 Book" because each page spread has 100 items.

100th Day Celebration - The Wolf's Chicken Stew (K)
We read the book The Wolf's Chicken Stew and count and graph all the items that the wolf makes the chicks. We then see which food was each childs favorite. Then get ready to make 100 pancakes.

100th Day Collections (K-2)
100 items--children predict weights, weigh, and chart results. Also includes related activity ideas.

10 Apples Up on Top (K)
Make class books as a follow up activity to this great Dr. Seuss book. - While we're talking about numbers, why not have 10 children with 10 apples up on top = 100!

100th Day of School Activities (K-1)
Here are some activities that you can use to celebrate the 100th day of school.

The above list of K Activities was extracted from The 100th Day of School- Resources for celebrating the 100 days of school, a page which also includes lists of books and links to other web sites.

We would rather know about YOUR ideas. Please tell us what YOU did. With your permission, we'll compile our own list.
