Technology and the New Zealand Ministry of Education. The units are the main part of this extensive
site which also includes many links to other internet resources and projects as well as a
discussion list for English teachers. Includes well developed reading and writing resources.

The Internet Public Library Youth Division - Reading Zone - A multitude of links with easy access to information, references, subject and special collections along with space for kids and teens. An excellent resource!
ThinkQuest Library: Books and Literature - The ThinkQuest Library consists of more than 5000 sites that were built by kids for kids. The Books and Literature section contains ThinkQuests in many English Language Arts categories. As well as being sites for learning, they are rich in ideas for teachers.
Web English Teacher - A vast set of resources for all areas of English Language Arts. Focus on research, I-search and multi-genre writing. Includes a set of general resources for children's literature and reading. A site well worth visiting and taking time to peruse.
