CCA 4 Kids
This site is designed by Concerned Children's Advertisers, a group of companies producing services and products. Their commercials, which air during children's favourite television shows and their site are designed to help children understand what they see on television and the internet as well as develop skills to deal with everyday challenges. Children visiting the site are able to learn how a commercial is made and can create their own commercials.
Centre for Media Literacy

Media Awareness Network
The Media Awareness Network offers practical support for media education in the home, school and community and provides Canadians and others with information and "food for thought" on our fast-evolving media culture. New Mexico Media Literacy Project
The New Mexico Media Literacy Project is one of the oldest  and most successful media literacy organizations in the USA. It empowers children, youth and adults to become more critical consumers of media messages. Their mission is to cultivate thinking and activism in our media culture to build healthy and just communities. 
teachwithmovies.org Teach with Movies - A new tool for parents and teachers
Introduce children to: major events of history; great achievements of civilization; extraordinary men and women who have shaped our world; works of music, dance, drama, literature and the visual arts; and ethical, social, and cultural issues.
Learning Guides to each recommended film describe the benefits of the movie, possible problems, and helpful background. Discussion questions, bridges to reading, projects and links to the internet are also provided.
