2.6 Curved mirrors
Prediction of behaviour of any incident ray
If we know the location of the center of curvature of a curved mirror, it is possible to predict the behaviour of any incident ray that strikes it.
Here are the steps:
- Draw the normal by joining the point of incidence to the center of curvature.
- Measure the angle between the normal and the ray (angle of incidence).
- Draw the reflected ray at the same angle of the other side of the normal.
