English Language Arts and Social Sciences Bibliography
- An English Language Arts and Social Sciences Bibliography for High School Students and
Teachers: This is a comprehensive list of titles that will be added to and updated regularly. It
was created by Judith Elson, Jens Holm, Nadine Maglia, and Rosemary Tucci, four Riverside School
Board teachers from Centennial Regional High School, Greenfield Park who spent many hours doing
what they loved to do - haunting libraries, book stores and web sites and reading books. The
importance of this site lies in the detailed descriptions they wrote for each text.
Blacks have continued to make a positive impact on Canadian society though largely
missing from popular texts and public documents. This document focuses on their
contribution.
The material is directly compatible with the History of Québec and Canada program
(History 414). Many of the items included can also serve as valuable
content in a variety of subject areas and grade levels.
