Join our Kindergarten Professional Learning Community (K-PLC).

This community is in a "sheltered" area, accessible only to its members, where educators can experiment, give and receive feedback and even work together in a variety of ways.

What is in it for you?
Joining the K-PLC will give you access to resources shared by teachers, student teachers, board consultants and the LEARN team. It also gives you access to people you wouldn't normally be able to contact: teachers and consultants in other school boards,  MELS Kindergarten professionals, university professors.

What is in it for others?
Everyone benefits only insofar as everyone accepts to contribute something: resources, information, opinions, help, ... whatever you can. As a matter of fact,  joining the K-PLC means you are making a commitment to being an active member of a learning community.  That might indeed imply occasionally sharing a bit of your own work , or sharing an idea or project, telling us of something you discovered, or something new you tried in class.  It may also mean actively using the work of others and giving them valuable feedback ,  perhaps suggesting alternative strategies or resources.  In other words, it means engaging in professional conversation. 

Note:  The K-PLC is open to all educators who presently have LEARN usernames and passwords.  (The LEARN community includes all English public sector boards, English private schools, as well as other partners. If you are not sure whether your organisation is a partner, please contact us.)
