• Portfolio reflection printables  | MS WORD |  PDF |
  Created by Kim McGrath, she uses them to support children's reflection after an activity or project which is then inslude in the child's portfolio.

• Home activities   | MS WORD |  PDF |
  Weekly send-home sheets that invite the parents to do "homework activities" with their child that are different from the "fill-in the blanks/write on the line" ones that are sometimes used. They target Competencies 4 and 5 while showing parents how they can support their child's development in simple ways.

 Technology in the classroom

Respecting copyright is important.  Here are free images that you can use in your projects, your web pages, your documents and your communications.

Image collections 

• Image and Sound collection from the RÉCIT du préscolaire
  A list of copyright-free collections, including the images from the Grand Monde du Préscolaire, offered by the Service national à l'éducation préscolaire.
• Images du Grand Monde du Préscolaire
• Image collection from the CS Laval RÉCIT
  A collection of pictures on popular themes, includes 5000 Open Office Images. 
• Open Clip Art Library
  Browse collections, but better still, search by keyword.  
• Picto
  A collection that can be used by students for their projects, whether in paper, electronic or web form. French Interface.

Sound collections

• FXMania
  Offers over 12 000 sound files in WAV or MIDI format that are garanteed copyright free and free to use. The site is in French, but the sound files are not related to a language.
