- Several journals are available - For practicing teachers the following might be of particular interest. Language Arts for elementary teachers and teacher educators who want to stimulate and encourage children to discover language--reading, writing, listening, and speaking--as a means of learning about the world and about themselves, English Journal is for middle school and junior and senior high English teachers. Research in the Teaching of English is a forum that presents research conducted from the field's diverse sites, methodologies, and ontological orientations.
