Scénario : Ma vie en ligne du temps (1 er cycle du primaire)

Quels sont les événements importants de ta vie et de ceux de ta famille?

Ce scénario d’apprentissage, intégré à l'application Web de la ligne du temps, a pour objectif d'identifier les grands événements qui marquent la vie d’un enfant et de sa famille (1980 à aujourd'hui). L’élève devra répondre à la question problème à l'aide d'activités proposées et en construisant et en interprétant une ligne du temps.

Building My World (B.M.W.) is a project produced by the original LEARNing Materials Centre to help teachers plan and implement classroom events that develop the Social Science competency for Cycle One.  Nestled in the Quebec Education Program as a whole, the Social Science competency can be developed through "inquiry paths" that mobilize the cross-curricular competencies as well as those from a variety of subject areas - all within one of the Broad Areas of Learning. 

Building My World is intended as a planning guide for everyday classroom activities and events.  It can also be used as a framework or organizer for mapping out a Cycle plan in terms of its curricular fit and end-of-cycle outcomes. 

Building My World is:  

1. A two year program (Cycle I)
2. Concept-Based.  Uses an Inquiry Approach
3. Designed to help teachers plan & implement classroom events that develop the Social Sciences Competency for Cycle I

The teacher's guide includes:

A interactive web space has also been created to compliment the package. 
Teachers can also access various tools and instructional videos on that web space as well.
