Societies and Territories Resource toolkit
A series of teacher guides, student field journals, process planners, evaluation tools, and resource collections to help Cycle 2 teachers.Congratulations! You have now at your fingertips what we hope will be the perfect tools with which to teach the Cycle Two Elementary Social Sciences Program. If you are like us, you’ve been making due with very little material adapted to teaching about Iroquois and Algonquian societies, Canadian society in New France and French society in New France. Like us, you may have had to use French QEP approved texts and manuals, supplemented with plenty of books, web sites, videos, encyclopedias, novels and more for many years now. Now, you have numerous student consumable booklets and graphic organizers to help you structure the learning in your classroom.
Before getting started, please take a moment to read about the toolkit. While we’ve tried to be brief, it is important to understand how all of the parts of this resource kit work together. On the following pages, we’ve provided a description of each part of the kit with explanations whenever necessary.
