e-LEARNing Courses Offered by LEARN
The LEARN Delivery Model
LEARN uses a portal (SAKAI) and a platform (Wimba) to deliver its e-LEARNing services.
Real time, or synchronous, teaching and learning occur using Wimba which features two-way
audio and an interactive e-board available on the internet.
This platform is capable of delivering courses to areas that may have low bandwidth. Wimba also
features archives of live lessons or pr
e-recorded
instruction for student access anytime, anywhere.
