Free to Use Sounds
Music and sound effects add a lot to projects. Just because you own a CD by your favourite band does not give you permission to add it to your work. You can contact the creator to ask permission. Otherwise, find another source for music.
- You can create your own. Software like Garageband on the Mac or Aviary, found online are great ways to explore musical composition.
- You can search through online sound banks with licenses that allow you to use their sound files
| Read the licensing information. Some sites only allow you to use their files for classroom use - not for public performance which includes school events and publishing on the web. |
