Pedagogical uses:	When a speaker is presenting, students can ask questions or write comments This is known as a backchannel. Teacher can get quick input from members of the class
Collaboration in the community:	Teachers can connect with other professionals or members of their community to ask questions, share interesting reads. Teachers can find other interested teachers for creating collaborative activities across classrooms. Teachers can "tweet" to parents about activities happening in the classroom. There are many educators on both twitter and plurk
