With the Kaywa code generator, you can connect the code to a url, a text, a phone number or an SMS. Once you create the code you can copy it and paste it into a document, website, or whatever you print. Just fill in the fields and the code is created for you. You can then copy the image and paste it into a document, print it separately or use it on a web site.

To read a code, simply open your application and point your camera at the code, the reader. You will then be connected to the link. Each reader works slightly differently.

  • Have your students create a tour of your neighbourhood. Create a pamphlet with QR codes beside the item of interest. The QR code can link to an audio recording done by the students describing the building, an event, a piece of art, an oral history of someone who lived there....
  • Have students create an audio guide to an art exhibit. QR codes can be posted beside the piece of art, linked to an audio file.
  • Create a school tour. QR codes posted around the school can link to more information about the programme, the activities in a particular room, student reflections...
