Google docs
Google maintains an ever increasing suite of tools. You need to set up an account. You
can create spreadsheets, word-processing documents or presentations. In all cases you can invite
others to collaborate or view the documents. In addition you can track revisions (and know who made
them). Good docs does not currently work in Safari
- The word-processing documents can be exported in a variety of formats including Microsoft Word. Documents can be saved to your desktop as well as online. You can track revisions and revert to previous versions
- Spreadsheet document s can be imported from excel and exported to a variety of formats.
- Presentation - you can upload Powerpoint presentations or start from scratch in Presentation. Not only can you collaborate with others to edit and build the presentation, but you can invite people to view it online (either synchronously, when they would have access to participation in a chat or asynchronously)
