You can take part in online syncronous discussions on a variety of topics.

“Tapped In offers links to other educators, experts, and resources in almost every subject and content area. Teachers can also establish virtual offi ces and online classrooms to supplement their existing classes, providing electronic support for students who wish to employ the Internet as an electronic learning resource.”

Edutopia
This superb site, from the George Lucas Education Foundation, has a wealth of information on exemplary practices. There are many videos with some of the top educational researchers sharing their ideas via articles and video clips. In addition, check out their monthly magazine.

Leading and Learning with Technology
Leading and Learning with Technology is a journal published by ISTE. It publishes articles regarding the use of technology in K-12 classrooms. Some articles can be downloaded in pdf format.  Check the section "Educator Resources" as well as the "Publications" section.
