Project Description:
Students collect human traits data locally and send it to the project leader. Once the data is published, students can make comparisons, graph the results, then make a concluding statement about the commonality of traits that are prevalent in their school community.The Question:
What are the most common forms of Human Traits? Investigate how your community compares to others around the world by using the Scientific Inquiry Approach.The Action:
Collect data locally, then compare this data to other data collected by other schools globally and analyze which traits are common. Graphing results and interpretation are important components that the students will be involved in.Sharing:
The contributions will be displayed and will have accessibility by all participants, using a world map that they can click on to get the results and make their interpretations.Schedule: This project will run throughout the school year, so schools can complete Phase 1 locally, send in the results and then work on the analysis in Phase 2.
