Small Projects, Great Returns

You can't imagine yourself ever doing anything as "sophisticated" as some of the projects you have been exploring. But who says a project has to be big? Remember, too, that they often seem so big, so wonderful, and so totally organized only because you see the final product published on the Web.

In this section, educators who made the leap and launched their very own Telecollaboration tell their stories. They are meant to illustrate and inspire. If you launched even the simplest project, if you saw your energy level and that of your students peak during the experience, if you would do it again, ... you are well on the road to successful Telecollaborations.   Please be generous and share. Send a short E-mail to Christiane Dufour, telling us about your experience. We'll contact you and gather your experience to share here.

The Hundredth Day Celebration

Follow Joanne Jack, a newbie to the Internet, as she tells her exciting story and recounts how she transformed a vague idea into a simple yet meaningful project that energized her grade 3 students. (The Web pages which tell her story were created for her by the QESN so that she could share her enthusiasm with you.)
