- Aide technologique à l’é criture : définition et présentation: This site (in French) from the RÉCIT nationale en adaptation scolaire presents all the pertinent documents in French. It should be noted that this provincial RÉCIT was part of the discussions leading to Info/Sanction 554 and the possibilities this may result in for students with learning disabilities.
- Learning Disabilities Association of Quebec: (French) This site offers many resources pertaining to students with learning disabilities. It also holds an annual conference in March.
- ICT in the Inclusive Classroom Workshop: This LEARN workshop has been offered to Quebec's English school boards. It focuses on the use of simple technologies to support each phase of the writing process. Visit this workshop support site to get a sense of the workshop and learn about the technology tools and other resources (e.g., graphic organizers) it use as part of the workshop.
- Teach collaborative revision with Google Docs: This Google site links the revision phase of the writing process to the use of "Google Docs" - a collaborative writing tool. If you have not hear of Google Docs, it offers tools similar to "Office" but which "live" on a server and can therefore be accessed by others, allowing for more than one person to work on the document. In addition, a shared document can actually be edited in "live time" (i.e., synchronously). It's quite amazing!
