IDC Project Applications for 2007-2008

The Implementation Design Committee (IDC) is composed of representatives of the nine English School Boards in Québec, Associations representing the private education sector, and the three Special Status Boards.

The IDC mandate is:
To support the implementation of the QEP by:

•	Identifying systemic challenges, and conditions for the successful implementation of the Reform and the QEP;

•	Developing implementation models appropriate to the English sector;

•	Planning, coordinating and making available resources and materials for the delivery of services to schools;

•	Monitoring the implementation process and developing mechanisms which will allow for feedback to program developers.

The IDC will entertain project proposals from interested individuals or groups that clearly address this mandate. Funding will be made available to support the research and development stages of an innovative project, be it an approach, a model, or a teaching/learning material intended to assist in implementing the QEP. If approved, IDC will provide financial assistance to produce a prototype of the underlying concept. Mass production and distribution of the final prototype will require financing from some other source(s).
