The mandate of the Implementation Design Committee (IDC) is to support the implementation of the QEP by:

1. developing implementation models appropriate to the English sector;
2. planning, coordinating and making available resources and materials for the delivery of services to schools;
3. monitoring the implementation process and developing mechanisms which will allow for feedback to the program developers.

A major annual event, the Learning Symposium, which is held each February brings together educators from across the province representing both the public and private sectors within the English community. During the two-day conference delegates are afforded the opportunity for professional development, networking, as well as a forum to share best practices related to the implementation of the QEP.
