Description
Time and time again, we have heard teachers struggling with new pedagogical approaches tell us:
“Show me. Take me into classrooms. Let me see and hear the teacher and her students”.
LEARN, in association with MELS, has created a bilingual portfolio DVD that features gifted
educators and their students from across the province working with portfolios. In this workshop,
participants will watch parts of the DVD and engage in professional discussions with others about
portfolio in the classroom. The DVD is a fitting celebration of the work that is being done in
Québec with portfolios and learning, as well as being a homegrown learning tool for others
embarking on the journey.
