SS-PLC - Social Sciences Professional Learning Community
On the SS-PLC you will have access to various resources shared by teachers, student-teachers, board consultants and the LEARN team. Here in sheltered area of the world wide web, you can share your classroom experiences (and experiments!), send feedback to others, and even work together on new projects.


ERC PLC - Ethics and Religious Culture
LEARN is providing an online collaborative space for this new Professional Learning Community in ERC. Think of it as a place where all educators can share resources and experiences delivering the new Ethics and Religious Culture program. It is a place where "our" community of professionals can grow together.


PE&H PLC - Physical Education and Health Professional Learning Community
Become part of the new PE&H-PLC. Share, discuss, and get connected! Joining the new Professional Learning Community means you will have access to various resources shared by teachers, student-teachers, board consultants and the LEARN team. Here are some things being shared now by members of the PLC: A Volleyball LES, a Track LES, the "Get Open" Basketball LES with Videos! Got some good ideas, games to share, questions to ask? Jump right in!

Quebec School Library
This community is open to library personnel and those interested in supporting libraries. You will have access to book recommendations, documents and information on Information Literacy, web links to sites of interest to librarians. Members will drive where this goes. Get ideas, share ideas.

Secondary Math & Science
Joining the MST-PLC means you will have access to various resources shared by teachers, student-teachers, board consultants and the LEARN team. It will allow you to access a sheltered area, where educators can experiment, and send feedback, and even work on new documents together.

It also means you too can share your work, and get valuable feedback from others! In fact, joining the MST-PLC means you are making a commitment, to being an active member of a learning community. That might indeed imply occasionally uploading a bit of your own work , or sharing your own ideas. But it may also just mean actively testing the work of others, and suggesting alternative strategies or resources.

Kindergarten/Préscolaire
The Kindergarten Professional Learning Community (K-PLC) is in a "sheltered" area, accessible only to its members. Joining the K-PLC will give you access to resources shared by teachers, student teachers, board consultants and the LEARN team. It also gives you access to people you wouldn't normally be able to contact: teachers and consultants in other school boards, MELS Kindergarten professionals, university professors.

La Communauté de développement professionel du préscolaire est logée dans un site protégé, accessible à ses membres uniquement. En vous joignant à cette communauté, vous aurez accès à des ressources partagées par des enseignants, des enseignants en formation, des conseillers pédagogiques et l'équipe de LEARN. Cela vous donne aussi accès à des gens avec qui vous ne pourriez pas normalement communiquer : des enseignants et conseillers pédagogiques d'autres CS, des professionnels du MELS, des professeurs d'universités.

English Language Arts

Engage in conversations with other dedicated Language Arts teachers, find resources that will compliment your daily teaching needs, discover the hottest sites on the web or how to integrate technology into your lessons. Ask questions, offer advice, connect with colleagues, read, write and think about how to be part of the 21 st century literacy movement!!
