Academic and Career Guidance Content is specific learning content for students from Elementary Cycle Three to Secondary Cycle Two. These content items and their accompanying Expected Student Learning Outcomes address three broad themes: self-knowledge, knowledge of the world of school, and knowledge of the world of work.
The Academic and Career Guidance Content (ACGCs) is fully implemented in Elementary Cycle Three , Secondary Cycle One, and Secondary Cycle Two (Sec III). Due to COVID-19, implementation in Secondary Cycle Two (IV and V) has been postponed to 2021-2022.

Teaching and Learning Tools are resources developed either individually by, or in collaboration between, the GOAL Network, the GOAL teaching community, the school boards, and the ACGC Regional Resource.

Continuum with Links_2021_11_26Download This fillable PDF is a one-page planning tool for Elementary Cycle Three, Secondary Cycle One and Secondary Cycle Two. In all but a very few instances, there are direct links to Turnkey Materials (learning situations), Summary Sheets, and Record-Keeping Tools (graphic organizers) for every ACGC item. For planning purposes, the content items have fillable boxes for recording the level, term, and subject in which the ACGC will be addressed. Please note the date "2021_08_16." Updates will be posted until all the ACGCs have live links.
ACGC Learning Situations
ACGC learning situations (LS) are being developed in collaboration between the school boards and Gisella Scalia, ACGC Regional Resource for the English education community. Unless otherwise indicated, they are working documents, and are the property of the indicated school boards.
The Record-Keeping Tools are a type of graphic organizer, and their use is optional. Please read this brief introduction to this tool as it applies for all the content items. The link to each tool is placed below with its corresponding content item.Go to site

Québec Education Program Summary Table This table lists the subject-specific competencies in all programs at the secondary level.
