Community Vitality
Healthy schools are rooted in healthy communities.  In the context of Quebec, signs of vitality for the English-speaking community include ongoing communication, cooperation and collaboration with Francophone institutions, the availability of educational and recreational activities in English, social and economic integration and more.  For a better understanding of the signs of vitality, please review the tool “Signs of Vitality,” developed by Heritage Canada.

CLCs have a dual mandate

(1) Mobilize community stakeholders in support of educational success; 
(2) Mobilize schools in support of community vitality.
