Parenting in the Pandemic workshop series
Coping with stress anxiety and loss while parenting in uncertain times
The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on our physical and mental well-being. For some, the pandemic has engendered a sense of vulnerability, feelings of anxiety, and the loss of the youthful sense of invincibility. Many of us are experiencing heightened stress levels, uncertainty about the future and difficulty coping with the various changes in our everyday lives.
As parents we have the unique opportunity to support our children in discovering positive and healthy ways of coping with these experiences. Join us for a webinar discussion on the various ways we can help our children (and ourselves as caregivers) navigate these unprecedented times.
Guest speakers from the Family School Support and Treatment Team (FSSTT) at LBPSB:
Zmira King - Psychologist - Centre for Excellence in Mental Health (CEMH)
Janna Gillis - Behaviour Consultant
